Duraflex 100

What is Duraflex 100?
Duraflex 100 is Supercrete's highly flexible 2-component waterproofing system — designed for structures where crack movement is expected, and uniquely suited to waterproofing beneath tile finishes in combination with Supercrete's Flexbond tile adhesive range.
Duraflex 100 is a polymer-modified cementitious slurry that cures to form a highly flexible, waterproof membrane — directly bonded to the substrate surface. The polymer modification provides elongation properties that allow the membrane to accommodate hairline crack movement caused by thermal expansion, structural vibration or minor settlement without loss of waterproof integrity.
A key distinction of Duraflex 100 is its suitability for use under ceramic or porcelain tile finishes — bridging the gap between the structural waterproofing layer and the decorative tile surface. When used with Supercrete's Flexbond FX or HX tile adhesives, it forms a fully integrated, flexible wet area system that meets the waterproofing requirements of bathrooms, pool surrounds and tiled terraces.
Its UV resistance and foot-trafficability after curing make it equally suitable for exposed applications on flat roofs, pool decks and external tiled terraces — where the membrane may be left exposed temporarily or permanently in non-decorative areas.

Duraflex 100 is specifically recommended as the waterproofing layer beneath ceramic or porcelain tile finishes — used in combination with Supercrete's Flexbond FX (standard flexible tile adhesive) or Flexbond HX (heavy-duty flexible tile adhesive) for a fully integrated, flexible wet area waterproofing system.
